Here are the rules. It must be a car. Not a truck. Not a SUV. Not a crossover. Not a minivan. Furthermore, no chauffeur-specials. Long wheelbase editions of cars like the A8 are okay, because they still aren’t primarily designed to chauffeur. That means no Bentley Mulsanne, no S600 Maybach, etc. I’m pretty sure the longest American car is the Lincoln MKS at a (stunning) 205.6", so let’s see.

Well the new BMW 7 series long wheel base is 206.2 in in length and the current gen A8 is 207.4 in when in A8L configuration.

Also I know you said car, but seeing how many people seem to confuse them for normal cars the current Gen suburban/yukon(xl) are 224.4 in in length.

I think only the Caprice is longer. IIRC, the Caprice has an extended wheelbase to make it easier to manhandle perps into the back seat.

I owned a 1979 Lincoln Continental. In 1979 this was the longest non purpose built (ex: limo,ect) car in the world.
